FAIRFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY STATEMENT OF VALUES

Fairfield Public Library staff members have identified seven values for the workplace, to serve as guiding principles in the conduct of their work and in the relationships of staff with each other and with the public. These values are as follows:

1.     Open communication among staff at all levels and between staff members and the public

2.     Respect for other staff members and the public.

3.     Teamwork.

4.     Honesty.

5.     Accountability.

6.     Flexibility in problem solving.

7.     Service above self.
