EldercareEldercare: Where Do I Start? This program will help to answer some of the questions about eldercare in today’s world, including where to get the help that you need, and how to communicate with the older adult and other family members. RugsRug Hooking Rug hooking is one of America’s oldest art forms. In the early part of the 19th century families were able to cover the floors by cutting clothing and hooking it into burlap feed sacks that had been cut open. Rug hooking is a little more sophisticated now. Join this beginners group to discover the beauty and workmanship of rug hooking. Materials will be supplied. Thursdays beginning January 19 at 6pm. Card MakingCraft a Card Would you like to learn how to make unique cards that fit the sendees personality? Learn how to stamp, cut, design and embellish paper. You will make two adorable cards using materials donated by the workshop leader. Registration is required. Please note: you must sign up for both classes. BranchAmerican Sewing Guild meets every third Saturday of the month from 10am to 2pm. Indulge your inner Betsy Ross and come to the Woods Branch to find out how easy it is to mend, reuse, and refurbish clothes and materials you may have in your house.
