In an effort to maintain a quiet and pleasant environment, Fairfield Public Library requests that patrons be considerate of others when visiting the Library. The Library recognizes the need of patrons to use cell phones for personal or business use.  At the same time, the Library strongly recommends patron use cell phones without disturbing others by speaking softly, sparingly, and out of designated “cell phone free zones.”  The Library Staff reserves the right to ask patrons to turn off their cell phones if other patrons are being disturbed repeatedly and/or for long periods of time.
