Multiple copies of k-3 summer reading titles with a short loan period and no waiting lists

Where are they?

In the Children’s Library you’ll find them on the shelves below the New Books

In the Fairfield Woods Children Room you’ll find them on a separate shelf near the Summer Reading books

How long can I borrow them?

7 days

Are there late fees?

If you choose to keep the book longer than 7 days, there is a fee of $.20 per day

Why can’t I reserve or renew an Express Book?

Summer Reading Books are very popular. To serve everyone better, we need to have some of those books go out for short loan periods. Summer Reading Express Books are children’s summer reading titles that are available for short loans. These same titles are also available in our summer reading collection and can be placed on hold.
