on the Toolbar of the Online Catalog

is one way to browse the children's catalog by using selected images, popular subjects or letters of the alphabet.  Click on a picture and a selection of subtopics appears.  Select a subtopic and a list of the materials available on that topic is presented.

A more specific way to find materials in the Children's collection is to:

1.  click on

2.  insert your search terms in the search box and click on the appropriate cateogry: Everything, Authors, Titles, Subjects, Series, or Journal Titles.

3.  when your results are displayed, look at the top of each entry (in bold type) for  a "J" (for juvenile), "Picture", or "Easy."  These designations are used for materials in the Children's Library.
