Art Committee
Committee Chair: Claire Fray

The art committee manages the Bruce S. Kershner Gallery, the Library's art gallery.

Program Committee
Committee Chair: Chris Durgin

This committee focuses on support for library programs. Possible activities: sponsorship of book/author talks, concerts, arts shows, film series, lectures, etc.

Children's and Teen Committee
Committee Chair: Danielle Sharp

This committee focuses on support for the special services and programs of the Children's Library and the Young Adult area. Possible activities: volunteer support at children's and teen programs, sponsoring children and teen events, help with children's displays and bulletin board, children's book sale, book collection activities, etc.

Membership Committee
Committee Chair: TBD

This committee focuses on the annual membership drive. Possible activities: mailings, publicity, clerical help, etc.

Volunteer Committee
Volunteer Coordinator: Maureen V. O'Rourke

This committee focuses on coordinating volunteers for the Library. Possible activities: deliver books to the homebound, "adopt-a-shelf" program, holiday decorations, clerical help, book mending, etc.

Branch Committee
Staff Liaison: Branch Librarian

This committee will focus on support for the special services and programs of the Fairfield Woods Branch Library. Possible activities: coordination of volunteer support at the Branch, Branch book sale, sponsoring programs at the Branch, etc.

Fundraising Committee

This committee will focus on ways to raise funds to help the Library buy the "extras" not in their operating budget. Possible activities: book sales, Friends tote bags, special events, etc.
