Teens - Service Saturday Program

The Fairfield Public Library’s Service Saturday program is ideal for teens that would like to complete community service hours for school, religious organizations, clubs or any other purpose.

This ongoing volunteer program will occur on one Saturday per month, from 9:30 to 4:30 PM at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Teens will assist in various tasks, including organizing and caring for collections, preparing for programs, and general clerical work. Jobs will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

No registration is required. Teens should check in with the volunteer coordinator in the Teen Room to receive job assignments. Please bring any applicable paperwork with you at the beginning of the day. Contact the Teen Services Librarian at 255-7394 or nscherer@fplct.org with any questions.
