 NEW. Fairfield Public Library has added a new & powerful language-learning database, Tell Me More®, the latest in language-learning technology, to our collection of on-line databases.
Tell Me More®, by Auralog, offers more than 2000 hours of content per language, and covers reading, speaking, writing, and listening. All you need to access this database is a Fairfield Public Library card and an internet connection to access instruction in seven different languages*: English, Dutch, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, French, Italian, and German.
*If you are a native speaker of the following languages you will be able to learn the seven above-mentioned languages: German, English, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese-Mandarin, Turkish, Slavic, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Important: Please make sure you are using Internet Explorer 5.05 or higher. Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Netscape and other browsers are not supported at this time. This database will also not work on Apple computers. Please make sure that you have your popup blockers disabled. Many computers have multiple ones installed. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
 To begin using Auralog Tell Me More® for the first time, you must register with Auralog using your Fairfield Public Library card. You will be prompted to create a username and password, and download the Tell Me More ® Components, click here.

Tell Me More is not compatible with Netscape, Firefox, Opera or Safari due to the use of ActiveX. Internet Explorer 5.0 or more must be used . This database will not work with Apple computers.

- 16 bit Windows®-compatible sound card
- 1024x768 graphic card with 16 millions colours (800x600 with 65,536 colours)
- Internet Explorer 5.0 or later version
- Flash Player 7.0 (Flash Player 6.0.65.0) with required administrator rights.
- Microphone and loudspeakers or microphone-equipped headset
- 128Kb/s internet or intranet connection
- E-mail address, if the student account has to receive information about access and automatic system messages.
- Javascript
- Auralog components set up with required administrator rights.
